Dynamon AS is a technology company founded in March 2022. Dynamon currently consists of Hilde, Christer, Siv, Julie, and a dedicated development team. Our team includes nurses, managers, economists, architects, developers, testers, and many other disciplines, who work together to deliver the best solutions for our customers. We believe in creating an inclusive and positive work environment where everyone has the opportunity to excel and grow in their fields of expertise, while also learning new disciplines. We have developed Dynamon; a cloud-based service (Software-as-a-Service). This means that you can access Dynamon via your web browser. Cloud-based services are cost-effective alternatives to traditional IT distribution where you must purchase or build your own IT infrastructure, install the software yourself, configure applications, and have an IT department maintain everything.
Dynamon is built in Bergen and developed based on insights and experience with scheduling. Dynamon does not replace the scheduling programs in the market today but functions as a support tool for managers who are creating schedules. Dynamon simplifies, renews, and streamlines the manual work of creating schedules. Dynamon will also contribute to a better understanding of available resources and how employees can be used most efficiently in operations.
We collaborate with all organizations in the public and private sectors that organize employees in shift work, and who want to improve the way they work to create good schedules with minimal time consumption.
At Dynamon, we work with expertise and experience to identify a high-quality work schedule. Each of these qualities is transformed into self-developed algorithms and integrated into a mathematical model. We have created technology that uses the model, and it runs searches for the best solution using AI (artificial intelligence). Dynamon gradually searches for a better and better solution until it finds the best work schedule, which is presented to the user.
Our history
In 2013, Hilde became a manager in community healthcare services. For the first time, she was responsible for creating a work schedule for a nursing home with around 115 employees and three new department heads. The expectations from the employees were enormous. The staff had needs related to family situations, life phases, and circadian rhythms, as well as placement of days off or similar. The departments had to cover shifts with a given staffing level and qualified professional competence that was within budget. Users in the departments also had needs related to the work schedule regarding continuity, predictability, and treatment.

The work process had to be carried out four times a year, in addition to creating a relief work schedule for holidays. The work schedule work required a lot of administration from her. When would she have time to lead? The time-consuming work made Hilde reflect on the fact that the task had to be solved in a different way.
In December 2019, Hilde decided that she had created her last manual work schedule. Technology has come far enough that tools could be used to automatically create work schedules. This could replace the manual process of entering shift codes.
Dynamon was started in March 2020. Today, Dynamon consists of Hilde, Christer, Siv, Mari, Julie, and a Norwegian development team. Together, we make up a great team with a common goal. Every day, we work to make work schedules as easy as possible - while having fun at work. Work schedules must be able to be done quickly and easily.
We want to simplify and streamline the work of creating work schedules. Thus, we free up time for managers and provide better work schedules for employees. We believe that Dynamon can help provide better healthcare services by allowing more healthcare personnel to continue working in the healthcare sector in the years to come.

Hilde Ulvik Hordnes
CEO
Hilde er utdannet sykepleier og økonom og har en master i helseledelse. Hun har jobbet både som leder i kommunehelsetjenesten og som prosjektleder i mange helserelaterte prosjekter innen ulike fagområder i helsesektoren Hilde motiveres av å frigjøre tid for ledere slik at de kan lede og ikke bare administrere i hverdagen! Hun betegner seg som en “turnusnerd”, og elsker en god diskusjon rundt turnus og de viderverdigheter som turnus skaper.

Christer Pedersen
CTO
Christer er utdannet kreftsykepleier med master i helse- og sosialinformatikk. Han har lang og allsidig erfaring innen spesialist- og primærhelsetjenesten, og har hatt ulike ansvar og roller som blant annet leder, systemansvarlig, rådgiver og virksomhetsarkitekt. Christer trives i skjæringspunktet mellom forretning og IKT. Han tar gjerne en prat rundt hva vi kan bidra med for å effektivisere din virksomhet.

Siv Heldal
Training and Development Director
Siv is a trained nurse and educator with extensive experience as a leader in elderly care. She has, among other things, helped build a nursing home with 90 residents from scratch and possesses unique expertise in organizing and managing both specialist and community health services. Siv is likely the one you will meet when you start using Dynamon, and if you have questions about various aspects of scheduling. She is motivated to simplify the daily lives of leaders and loves a good laugh!

Mari Helén Hvidsten
Key Account Manager
Mari er utdannet sykepleier og har videreutdanning i helseledelse, helseøkonomi og kvalitetsforbedring. Hun har jobbet mange år som leder i spesialisthelsetjenesten, og vært prosjektdeltaker i ulike kvalitetsforbedringsprosjekter. Mari motiveres av å forenkle ledernes hverdag, så de får tid til å faktisk lede. Hun betegner seg selv som en ekte "turnusnerd", og trives med å utforske de ulike aspektene ved turnusplanlegging. Hun liker å dykke ned i materien og løse matematiske utfordringer for å sikre at turnusene fungerer optimalt. Hvis dette kan bidra til å forbedre arbeidsflyten og effektiviteten for ledere, slik at de kan fokusere mer på å lede, har Mari lyktes.

Julie Ulvik Hordnes
Administration
Julie studerer til en Master i økonomi og ledelse ved Copenhagen Business School, og har erfaring fra salg og digital markedsføring. I Dynamon bidrar Julie til at teamet har de administrative verktøyene og arbeidsprosessene de trenger for å jobbe på en effektiv måte, og på den måten frigjøre tid til det som er gøy - å jobbe med kundene!
